Two lanes of the M20 were closed this afternoon following an accident.
Emergency services were called to the London-bound carriageway between junction 10 for Ashford South and junction nine for Ashford and Faversham.
The road is now fully reopened.
Two cars collided and initial reports were that one had overturned.
Lanes one and two were closed with queues reported back to junction 10, although these are now said to be easing.
Motorists were delayed for around 15 to 20 minutes while trying to get past the accident.
KM reporter Matt Leclere was caught up in the traffic.
He said: "Both vehicles are on their wheels, one was a grey Peugeot estate.
"It sustained quite a bit of damage and the front end was quite badly damaged with the passenger side front wheel smashed in to the wheelarch.
"One ambulance was also on the scene along with Highways officers.
"A group of people were gathered on the hard shoulder walking around.
"The carriageway was littered with quite a bit of debris."
Police confirmed one man was taken to hospital.
