Air ambulance called to Ashford building site incident

The air ambulance was called to Ashford’s shared space area this morning following an incident on a building site.
Kent Air Ambulance landed and waited on standby on waste ground off Elwick Road, this morningas land paramedics tended to a man on the Osborne Road site, where a new block of flats is being built.
One man who appeared to be on a drip feed could be seen being guided down scaffolding steps and to a land ambulance.
Police were also at the scene and traffic was controlled but allowed to keep moving.
It is not yet known what the victim was suffering from but police confirmed that this was not an industrial incident.
