Appeal after road rage incident
00:00, 31 July 2008
Police investigating a road rage incident near Ashford are appealing for witnesses.
Between midnight and 1am on Saturday, June 28, two workmates aged 22 and 31 were travelling along the A2070 towards the Romney Marsh from Ashford.
A car behind them started flashing its lights so they pulled into a lay-by followed by the car.
A man from the following car approached, accused the 31-year-old driver of “cutting him up” and assaulted them both.
The attacker was in a black or silver coloured VW Golf.
The driver was white, 6ft, slim with short black hair. The other offender is a white man of stocky build and blonde spiky hair. There was also a blonde woman in the back seat of the car.
Anyone with information should contact PC Deborah Weston on 01233 611055.
