An armed gang have robbed a delivery driver near the Howletts Wild Animal Park.
The 31-year-old man was driving in Bekesbourne last night when he was flagged down by a vehicle behind him.
He was then assaulted by four men along Bekesbourne Road and threatened with what police believe to be a knife and a handgun.
They stole cash from him before driving off in a light-coloured sports car.
The victim was treated at hospital for minor injuries and has since been released.
Police have not revealed any more information about the crime, between 8pm and 8.30pm.
They shut the road into this morning and are continuing to investigate.
