Police arrest man after serious assault outside The Albion pub in Mead Road, Willesborough

A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault outside a pub.
The reported victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with broken bones and facial injuries following the attack as he left The Albion in Willesborough.
He is said to have been attacked from behind by another man at 10.30pm on Saturday as he left the Mead Road pub.
Officers arrested a 26-year-old man from Ashford yesterday evening on suspicion of assault.
He was released on bail while the investigation continues.
Officers are still appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.
