Ashford men arrested after burglary in Elm Place

Two suspected burglars have been arrested after medication and cash were stolen during a raid in Ashford.
Police were called to a reported break-in after witnesses saw intruders near a property in Elm Place.
Officers attended at around 1.30am yesterday morning, after it was reported a mobile phone had been taken along with cash and prescription medication.
Following further enquiries and, assisted by CCTV operators, officers tracked down two men in the Newtown Road area.
The suspects, aged 40 and 29 and both from Ashford, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
The 29-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs.
They were released on bail until Thursday, March 30 while enquiries continue.
