Ashford motorcyclist taken to William Harvey Hospital after crash involving Kawasaki bike and Toyota Corolla on Lydd Road near Camber Sands

A motorcyclist from Ashford was taken to hospital after a crash with a car near Camber Sands in Sussex.
The 45-year-old was riding an orange Kawasaki on Lydd Road at just before 4pm yesterday when it was in a smash with a red Toyota Corolla.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Emergency services were called to Lydd Road at 3.55pm to a collision between a car and a motorbike.
"A red Toyota Corolla was turning into the car park when an orange Kawasaki appeared to lose control and the rider came off."
The rider was taken to the William Harvey Hospital with what police described as serious injuries.
The car driver, a 51-year-old from London, was unhurt.
