Ashford: Cuckoo Lane assault, thought to have occurred at Beaver Green Community School, leaves man with facial injury

A man has been left with a facial injury after it is thought he was attacked at a school.

Police were called to a disturbance on Cuckoo Lane in Ashford at 3.19pm.

A spokesman for the force said: "During the incident a man is reported to have been assaulted by another man.

"Officers attended the scene, alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service, and one man was treated at the scene for a facial injury which is not reported to be serious.

"The second man has not been located and enquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing."

Nearby residents have reported seeing a police car on the grounds of Beaver green Community School this afternoon.

Officers are continuing to conduct interviews with residents in the area.
