Bath Bomb Boom to open in Ashford's Park Mall, filling former Office Angels unit

An empty unit in Ashford town centre will soon be filled by a new bath bomb shop.
Bath Bomb Boom is launching on Monday (July 19) in Park Mall, bringing with it a range of bath accessories.
Born out of the pandemic, the family-run business rapidly gained customers via its Facebook page to the point where a physical shop was the next logical step.
Taking over the former Office Angels unit next to St George’s Square, the shop will offer handmade soaps, exfoliating scrubs, shampoo bars, wax melts and of course bath bombs.
Also available is a range of scented candles and even CBD-infused bath bombs, promising to be a one-stop shop for a relaxing evening of pampering.
All items adhere to cosmetic standards and are made using natural ingredients.
The creative force behind Bath Bomb Boom, Kristine Archer, said: “It all began about seven years ago when I was making ornate carved candles at home as a side hustle.
“But with much hard work, and trial and error later, I ended up with a loyal client base.”
Still holding on to her day job, she then began experimenting with bath bombs about four years ago.
A website for the business is expected to be completed in due course.
The addition of Bath Bomb Boom comes after another opening nearby, with AK Convenience Store having launched in recent months.
The shop has filled the former Edge Organic Hair & Vegan Salon site in Castle Street.
