Motorbike rider, 21, killed in Beaver Lane crash in Ashford

A 21-year-old biker was killed in a crash in Ashford yesterday evening, police have confirmed.
The young man - riding a red Honda motorbike - was involved in a serious collision with a Ford Tourneo at the junction of Beaver Lane and Kither Road.
Seven police cars and nine ambulances raced to the scene, close to the Sure Start Willow Centre, just after 5pm.
Sadly, the biker was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An urgent appeal for witnesses of the fatal crash has now been issued to help police with the investigation.
Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed either vehicle leading up to the collision or who has dashcam footage of the vehicles in the moments before the incident.
The Ford Tourneo involved in the crash was blue.
