A motorcyclist has died after a serious crash on a country lane.
The man was declared dead at the scene of the incident near Ashford.
Police are investigating after the victim, a 61-year-old man, was involved in a collision with a lorry near Woodchurch yesterday.
The motorcyclist was reportedly riding a red Ducati, and was the first of four in a convoy travelling east along the B2067 towards Kenardington.
Shortly before 8am, the motorbike then collided with a white flatbed Man recovery lorry.
Police and paramedics attended but the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
The road was closed for almost nine hours while forensic investigators examined the road.
Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened, or who has dashcam footage which may assist, to contact them.
Officers would particularly like to speak to the driver of a white Honda which was seen in the area, who may have witnessed the incident.
Anyone with information is urged to call the SCIU appeal line on 01622 798538 or emailing sciu.td@kent.police.uk quoting reference DS/SW/0821/21
