Biker dies in crash with Jaguar on A251 in Boughton Aluph near Ashford

A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a Jaguar on an A-road.
The incident happened on A251 Faversham Road in Boughton Aluph, near Ashford, shortly before 9pm last night.
Police say a red Jaguar E-Pace was travelling towards Ashford when it collided with a green Triumph motorcycle being ridden in the opposite direction away from Kennington.
The biker, a man in his 50s, died at the scene of the incident, which happened close to the entrance to Eastwell Manor hotel.
Officers, paramedics, fire crew and an air ambulance attended the scene.
The serious collision investigation unit (SCIU) is now appealing for witnesses to come forward in a bid to help their investigation.
