Twenty birds, including canaries, bullfinches and goldfinches, stolen from aviary in Stanhope, Ashford

Thieves stole twenty birds from an aviary in a garden in Stanhope, in Ashford.
Police are now investigating a burglary at the address after the canaries, bullfinches and goldfinches were reported missing last Saturday.
Officers received reports that an aviary in the rear garden was broken into between 9pm and 9.30pm and the birds were stolen.
