The body of a woman found in a pond in Eureka Park has still not been identified.
The grim discovery was made on Tuesday, near the Travelodge around 4pm.
Police, forensic officers and paramedics were called to the scene and an area was cordoned off.
The woman's body was pulled from the water and given to the ambulance service.
Today, a police spokesman said a post mortem has not yet been carried out and the body has still not been identified.
Officers are unable to reveal how old she was, there has been no awareness of her next of kin and police said it is too early to state whether it would be treated as suspicious.
The spokesman said: "Officers are continuing their work to identify the woman."
