Godmersham bronze greyhound statue stolen from lawn near A28 Canterbury Road in Ashford

A bronze statue of a dog, almost a metre and a half in length, has been stolen from a front lawn.
The sculpture of 1980s racing greyhound Ballyregan Bob was taken from a garden in Godmersham just off the junction with the A28 Canterbury Road.
The heavy artwork, which measures 130cm long and 75cm high, was dragged from the property on Friday, November 2 between 7.30pm and 11.30pm.
Anyone who has information about either the theft or the location of the statue is urged to call Kent Police straight away on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/4976/18.
