Green John Deere tractor worth £12,500 stolen from Ashford Hockey Club, in Ball Lane, Kennington
17:48, 22 August 2013
Police are appealing for witnesses, after a tractor was stolen from a sports club in Ashford.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have information about the theft of a green tractor - of the same make as that pictured below - which was stolen from Ashford Hockey Club in Kennington.
Between August 12 and 13, burglars broke down gates at the club, and stole the John Deere tractor worth around £12,500.
It is believed a large vehicle would have been used to gain access to the site, which would have had to travel along Ball Lane.
The offenders caused extensive damage to the shed that the tractor was stored in.
They also stole gardening equipment, including a rotavator and leaf blower.
Kent Police has delivered witness appeal leaflets to houses surrounding the hockey club and officers are also asking for help from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or who has information.
