Forensic investigation teams from Kent Police search for burglars who targeted Wimpy restaurant in Tufton Street in Ashford town centre

Forensic investigation teams were at the Wimpy restaurant in Tufton Street this morning following reports of a break-in.
Several windows were smashed and the burglars made off with an unknown amount of money sometime between 5.30pm yesterday and 8am today.
Police are appealing for witnesses or any information that could help with their investigation.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “We are investigating a burglary which took place some time between 5.30pm on 29 July and 8am the following day at the Wimpy restaurant in Tufton Street, Ashford.
