A28 Canterbury Road closed in Bilting between White Hill and The Steet after serious crash

The A28 has been reopened after a serious crash earlier today.
Emergency crews rushed to Canterbury Road at 9.16am, and the road was shut between White Hill and The Street.
A police spokesman said: "Three people are being treated at the scene for injuries.
"A telegraph pole has fallen down and damage has been caused to a brick wall. A road closure is currently in place while emergency services personnel deal with the incident."
It is not yet known how seriously injured the victims are or if anyone has been taken to hospital.
