Two men and a woman were arrested and bailed on suspicion of theft from motor vehicles on Saturday night.
A vehicle was reported to get away from the police at junction 8 of the M20 at Maidstone and was later stopped, some 11 miles later, in Great Chart, Ashford, at 11.45pm.
A police spokesman said: "Officers arrested a 19-year-old woman from Folkestone, a 19-year-old man with no fixed address and a 37-year-old man from Folkestone on suspicion of theft from motor vehicles.
"All three have been released on bail pending further investigation until Wednesday, November 2."
