Suspected arson attack in Beaver Lane, Ashford

Police are investigating a suspected arson attack which saw a car engulfed in a ball of flames.
A car was set on fire in Beaver Lane in Ashford in the early hours of Saturday night.
Emergency services including police and fire services attended the scene to put out the blaze that had engulfed the car.
Nobody was injured. Police are now treating the attack as arson.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 12.45am on Saturday, May 26, to reports of a car on fire in Beaver Lane, Ashford.
"No one was hurt and officers are investigating it as arson."

Kent Fire and Rescue Services were at the scene until 1.22am.
A spokeswoman added: "Crews were called to Beaver Lane to reports of a vehicle fire.
"Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze which had destroyed the car. There were no reported injuries and the fire is believed to have been started deliberately."
