Fire crews tackle car fire on Cheeseman's Green Lane, Ashford

Fire crews were called out to tackle a car fire on a country road in Ashford in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services attended the scene at Cheeseman's Green Lane, Kingsnorth, after reports that a car was on fire having gone off the road.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue service said: "We were called out to Cheeseman's Green Lane at around 3am after reports that a car was on fire."
"The car had gone off the road and was on fire when we arrived.
"It is still unclear whether it was alight due to a crash or if it had been torched."
