Kent Fire and Rescue Service tackle car fire after blue Renault Mégane set alight in Jemmett Road in Ashford

A car has been destroyed by fire after being set alight outside homes in Jemmett Road, Ashford.
Firefighters spent an hour tackling the blaze from 11.45pm yesterday but could not save the blue Renault Mégane.
Watch manager at Ashford fire station, Mike Blundred said the flames did not spread to any homes and no one was injured.
Police are investigating the fire as possible arson.
