Child approached by stranger at Kingsnorth Primary School

Parents around Ashford are being warned after a child was approached by a man at Kingsnorth Primary School.
The incident is believed to have happened after school on Friday, it is reported that a man jumped from a van to approach a Year 6 child.
The child is safe and unhurt.
Parents and carers around the area have been sent out warning letters, emails and texts warning them of the incident.
A police spokesman said: "Police are investigating a suspicious incident that is reported to have happened in Manor House Drive, kingsnorth, shortly after 3.30pm on Thursday, December 7.
"A ten year-old boy told officers he ran away from a man who exited a vehicle and that the man headed in the same direction.
"No offences were disclosed but officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances behind the incident.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to call 01843 222289 quoting reference SI/ZY/10910/17."
