Police have recovered a knife from Ashford's skatepark where a child was attacked by two other youngsters.
Officers were called to the site in Tannery Lane, next to the Stour Centre, on Monday evening at 5.20pm.
They were alerted to reports of one child being seen with a kitchen knife and the other with a craft knife.
Neither weapon was used in the assault, and the craft knife was later recovered from the scene.
Officers spoke with the young victim - who had been assaulted by the two children - and they also spoke with his parents.
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing, assisted by Kent Police schools officers.
The attack is thought to have happened at about 4.25pm.
