Cineworld to screen Children in Need fundraiser
12:28, 07 November 2012
Cineworld Ashford will be hosting an afternoon of festive fun with advance screenings of Nativity 2.
The cinema, in the Eureka Leisure Park, will show the Christmas family sequel on Sunday, two weeks prior to general release.
Tickets will cost £5 and all proceeds will go straight to BBC Children in Need.
Nativity 2 sees the children at St. Bernadette’s School hit the road for a choir contest with their teacher Mr. Person, played by David Tennant.
On the crazy packed bus and without parental permission, the kids make their way to Wales for the contest only to find their arch-rivals from the posh Oakmoor School are taking part too.
This joyful family comedy has a fantastic British cast, including David Tennant and Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page.
Cineworld Ashford’s marketing manager Joanne Duggan said: "Following the successn of the first Nativity film we are expecting a good turnout for the sequel.
"Children in Need have done some remarkable work over the years and we are really pleased to be involved in raising funds for such a worthy cause.”
