Citroen unveils its curvy C3

00:00, 07 June 2002

CITROEN is previewing its new C3 at Citroen's Priory Motors showroom on Quantock Drive in Ashford.

The curvy hatchback is aimed at the 'Supermini' market. The C3 has been designed with space in mind.

With expansive windows and double sunroof available on later models, the C3 gives a sense of freedom and safety while driving, making this compact car comfortable for long touring as well as town driving.

The C3 has already been compared to the perennial Citroen 2CV and the chunky, fun interior adds to the effect.

This is coupled with the C3's numerous safety features including ABS, Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA).

There are three petrol models, the 1.4I, 1.4I automatic and 1.6I 16v. The C3 aims to compete with the leading small cars on the market.
