Drivers are being forced to approach a busy junction with caution after a set of traffic lights blacked out.
The lights on Canterbury Road in Ashford are still out, leaving motorists to navigate the three-way junction on their own.
The blackout is affecting traffic from all directions – including Simone Weil Avenue, which runs from the busy Drovers Roundabout that fields traffic from the M20 and A20.
The blackout has been impacting motorists in the area since about 9.25am.
Although traffic is currently coping well, an influx of traffic could create chaos if the issue persists.
A KCC Highways spokesman confirmed an engineer was on the way to address the issue.
Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution.
