Man arrested by police after collision on A28 just outside Tenterden

Police have arrested one of two drivers whose cars crashed on a busy road near Tenterden earlier this afternoon.
The smash, between a grey Mercedes and a Toyota, took place at around 1.30pm along the A28, between Tenterden and Rolvenden.
There was only one person in each vehicle, and no injuries were reported.
It has also been reported that the driver of the Mercedes has been arrested by police officers who attended the scene on suspicion of failing to provide a breath test.
He has been taken to hospital for a check-up.
