Person cut free from vehicle after crash involving car and van blocks Fougeres Way in Ashford outside The Range

A person had to be cut free from their vehicle after a crash involving a car and a van blocked an A-road.
Emergency services were called to Fougeres Way in Ashford, between Junction 9 of the M20 and Drovers Roundabout.
The incident happened at the junction for The Range.
Police were called at 3.10 pm and no serious injuries have been reported.
Two fire crews also attended and had to use hydraulic cutting equipment to free someone trapped in a car.
A spokesperson added: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 3.16 pm to reports of a crash between two vehicles on Fougeres Way, Ashford.
“One person was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.”
Crews left the scene at around 4.13 pm.
