A twisted pervert who collected hundreds of child sex abuse images and distributed them declared he was excited by high-pitched sounds of youngsters, a court heard.
Raymond Johnson, who also spied on a girl undressing with a secret camera, added he developed the fetish when he was watching adult porn.
The 36-year-old cross-dresser, of Leaveland Close, Ashford, was jailed for 15 months after admitting distributing indecent photographs of children, possessing them, possessing extreme pornography, voyeurism and securing unauthorised access to computer email with intent.
Maidstone Crown Court heard Johnson’s home was raided in November last year after the police child protection unit received a report that an email account had been hacked into.
An email containing obscene images which had been distributed was traced to Johnson. He was summoned from work and computer equipment was seized.
Prosecutor Keith Yardy told a judge: “During interview, he stated that about a year before in 2010 he discovered he was sexually excited by the high-pitched sounds of children, not necessarily in sexual content.”
Johnson admitted hacking into an ex-girlfriend’s email account and using the alter-ego of a 13-year-old lesbian from Folkestone.
In distributing images, he said he hoped to receive pictures of girls in return.

He would look at them twice a day five days a week. He wanted sound on movie clips to hear the high-pitched sounds.
Mr Yardy said chat logs showed Johnson has discussed shared images with at least 72 different people.
Johnson said two bestiality movie clips showing adults having sex with a dog and horse dated back to 2000.
He had also set up a secret camera and filmed a teenage girl changing into his feminine clothes. She was seen in her underwear while changing eight times.
Mr Yardy said the girl was disgusted when she discovered she had been hoodwinked.
Johnson wept as Judge Martin Joy told him: “I have no doubt whatsoever the offences are of such gravity that a non-custodial sentence cannot be justified.”
The voyeurism offence showed a perverted aspect to his personality and character, the judge added.
Johnson’s name will he added to the sex offenders’ register and a sexual offences prevention order was imposed.
DC Matthew Avery, of Kent Police child exploitation and investigation team, said after the hearing: “Johnson indiscriminately preyed upon vulnerable females by pretending to be a female.
"In order to do this he illegally accessed someone’s internet account so that he could masquerade as them.
“Johnson then amassed a collection of indecent images of children, some of which he distributed to others.
"This demonstrates that he lacks awareness of the very real harm that such behaviour causes to the children and that he saw them as objects for his own satisfaction.”
