Teenage boy flown to hospital after bicycle crash with car in Britannia Lane, Ashford

A teenage cyclist has been flown to hospital by air ambulance crews following a crash with a car in a housing estate.
Police and paramedics were called to help the boy after the crash in Britannia Lane near the Knight’s Park area of Ashford shortly after 3pm today.
The road remains closed while officers carry out enquiries. An ambulance service spokesman said the boy has been flown to the King's College Hospital in London, suffering with serious head injuries.
