Police are searching for two lycra-clad yobs on racing bikes after an alleged assault on a motorist.
Officers say they were called to the A252 at Charing Hill near Ashford after a woman driving a black Mercedes reported being attacked.
PC Steven Barker said: “The victim said she was driving slowly down Charing Hill, intending to turn right into a layby.
“Three cyclists passed her. As they did, one is reported to have grabbed hold of her rear windscreen wiper and snapped it off the car.
“During the subsequent altercation, the victim said another of the cyclists assaulted her.”
PC Barker said two of the suspects were on racing bikes and wearing lycra outfits. They were between the ages of 45 and 55.
He added: “Charing Hill is a busy stretch of road, I am hoping someone who may have witnessed the incident, or recognises the description of the cyclists.”
The alleged attack happened at 11.30am on Thursday, May 4.
