Ashford Borough Council has revealed the date from which swimmers will be able to enjoy a leisure centre pool again after a year's break.
The authority says one of the pools at the Stour Centre will be available from the week beginning Monday, July 26.
Initially only open for casual swimmers, classes will recommence on Sunday, August 1.
Only the main swimming pool will be opening after a year-long break, as refurbishment work was carried out to upgrade the leisure centre's facilities.
The only slight dampener on the June 1 relaunch was that the pools remained closed, due to extra work being identified as the revamp progressed.
It transpired that there was a fault in the tiling, requiring a large re-tiling project.
With the main pool's relaunch date revealed in a press release from Ashford Borough Council, it was also highlighted that "more substantial work is needed to the leisure pools".
It is added that this "work is under way and they will remain closed for now".
Operator Freedom Leisure is putting the finishing touches to the main pool timetable for lane swimming, aqua classes and swimming classes, and those interested in enrolling should contact the centre on 01233 663503.
Meanwhile, families are encouraged to visit the Stour Centre and make use of the new gym, biocircuit room, climbing walls and soft play area.
