Celebrity Paul O’Grady will return to our screens this weekend in a reboot of popular dating show Blind Date.
The comedian and TV presenter, who lives in Aldington, will present the new series taking over the match-making role from his long time friend and fellow Liverpudlian, the late Cilla Black.
The programme was previously aired on ITV but will return on Channel 5 on Saturday at 7pm.
Mr O’Grady previously said: “I am honoured to present the brand new series and, after speaking to Channel 5, I know the series is in safe hands.
“I can’t wait to see if we can find love.”
The 61-year-old was well known for being good friends with Cilla, who presented the show for 18 years until 2003. She died in 2015.
The show has been updated, but still has some classic themes such as the sliding panel, a three question format and a live studio audience.
