The long-awaited new branch of Deichmann has opened today.
The German retailer announced earlier this year that it would be opening a store in the former Poundland space in County Square in Ashford, after the budget brand relocated to the vacant BHS store.
Deichmann, Europe's largest shoe retailer, already has more than 80 stores across the UK.
The latest opening has created 10 new jobs and is the first specific shoe shop to open in the shopping centre since the closure of Clarks and Shoe Express.
Over the weekend, the new shop will be holding activities, including spin-the-wheel where customers have the chance to win a free pair of shoes, and offering special discounts to celebrate the opening.
