A man in his 40s has been taken to hospital after a crash involving an ambulance.
Emergency crews, including police and further ambulance crews, rushed to the A2070, Bad Munstereifel Road around 8.30am today.
The ambulance, which was a private crew working on SECAmb's behalf, was not carrying any patients at the time but a crew member was taken to hospital with a wrist injury.
It is understood the ambulance had gone into the back of another vehicle, believed to be a BMW.
Emergency crews were at the scene all morning while the vehicles were recovered.
The crew member was assessed at the scene before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
The road reopened at about 1pm and delays have cleared.
