Drivers were warned of delays at the junction 10 roundabout in Ashford after a two car smash.
Fire crews and paramedics were called to the scene around 8.30am today after the incident between a BMW and a Toyota Aygo.
It is not believed anyone is seriously injured but witnesses said the busy roundabout was 'gridlocked.'
One pump was called to make the scene safe after witnesses saw smoke coming from a car, but firefighters said it was just coming from the airbag.
The accident was caused at the junction Hythe Road, where the lights haven't been working for the past seven days.
It caused traffic queues building up back to junction 10 as vehicles wait to turn right to join the London-bound carriageway.
The scene has now been cleared.
More as we get it.
