Transport bosses have warned passengers to expect delays on high speed rail services after a train broke down.
Some passengers have reported being stuck on trains for an hour, while others have seen services cancelled leaving them needing to find a different way home.
Southeastern says that the services via Ashford International will either be delayed or cancelled. Meanwhile the broken down train is expected to be towed back to Ashford.
On Twitter Sarah Reddington posted that her sister has been stuck on board a high speed train for over an hour because of the delays. Meanwhile Euan Anckorn has reported that his train to Margate has been cancelled at short notice.
It follows the misery of motorists on the M25 who are facing long delays and motorway closures.
