Ambulance and police called to M20 between junctions 9 and 10 following collision between car and lorry

Five people have been taken to hospital following a crash on the M20.
Police and ambulance crews were were called to the motorway between junctions 9 and 10 after a lorry and car collided at 11.10am.
The silver car had five occupants, two adults and three children, in it. All five were treated at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital.
Two lanes of the coastbound carriageway were shut while crews attended to the patients and while the vehicles were recovered.
A spokesman for ambulance service said: "At 11.10am today SECAmb was called to J9 of the M20 coastbound to the scene of a collision, reports of a car colliding with a lorry.
"Two ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene.
"The car had five occupants, two adults and three children all with minor injuries.
"After assessment and treatment by paramedics, all patients were taken to hospital for further assessment and treatment."
The motorway has now re-opened.
