Firefighters spent four hours tackling a blaze that destroyed a derelict house last night.
The fire broke out at a two-storey building at Cemetery Lane, Bybrook, at around midnight.
Three fire engines from Ashford, two pumps and a water unit, were called to deal with the incident.
The two-storey building was totally wrecked, with its roof burned away.
Firefighters believe the blaze was started deliberately and police were called to investigate.
