Delays on the M20 near Ashford due to broken down vehicle amid reports of crashes in Margate and A262 Cranbrook

There is disruption on the county's roads this evening amid heavy rain and strong winds.
Motorists face delays on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 due to a broken down vehicle.
One lane is closed from junction 9 in Ashford to junction 8 near the Maidstone Services close to Leeds Castle, according to National Highways.
The disruption is expected to clear later this evening.
Meanwhile there are also unconfirmed reports of accidents causing delays in different parts of the county.
In Margate there is congestion on the A255 with Dane Court Road blocked in both directions due to reports of an accident at the A256 Westwood Road.
Delays have also been reported on the A262 near Cranbrook after an accident involving two vehicles near Blue Coat Lane.
There has also been disruption to rail services between Dover and Canterbury this evening after a train collided with a tree.
