Driver arrested after car flips in Singleton crash

A suspected joyrider has been arrested in Ashford after allegedly stealing a car and flipping it onto its side today.
The 19-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested in Tithe Barn Lane, Singleton, at around 11.20am.
The road was closed until around 1.50pm while the Peugeot was recovered. No one is believed to have been injured.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle, possessing a bladed article, having no insurance, failing to stop after an accident, dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.
