In the end, at least five police cars were involved in ending the chase.
The driver, a man in his 20s from the Romney Marsh area, was arrested on suspicion of seven separate offences.
These include failing to stop, dangerous driving, driving under the influence of drugs, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, harassment and malicious communications.
He remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
