A driver was clocked doing a staggering 131mph on the M20.
Police said the driver's average speed was 131mph as they passed between Charing and Ashford yesterday.
The national speed limit on a motorway is a maximum 70mph at any time.
This means the driver was going almost double the speed limit.
The RPU spokesman said in the tweet that the driver was looking at a court appearance and driving ban "as a minimum".
The incident is the latest in a number of shocking speeding offences recorded on the same stretch of road in just a few days.
Over the weekend, two drivers were caught doing 127mph and 134mph within an hour of each other on the M20.
They were among six motorists who will now be prosecuted for allegedly driving at excessive speed on Saturday.
Two were caught doing 99mph and 97mph respectively.
