Ashford: Man dies after A2070 crash

A driver has been found dead 10 miles after crashing his car into a roundabout lamppost.
Police are now appealing for witnesses after the black Mercedes crashed at Finn Farm Road near Ashford on the A2070 at 8pm yesterday.
The car then continued along the main road towards Hastings before officers later found it in Guldeford Road in Romney Marsh.
The driver, a man in his 20s from Bromley, was found unresponsive in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene two hours later.
The death is not being not being treated as suspicious.
Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or who saw the driver on his journey from Ashford to Romney Marsh.
