Driver injured after crashing Ford Focus RS near Ashford

A driver escaped serious injury after their high performance car overturned in a 30mph zone.
Police were called to the two-car crash in the A292 Chart Road just outside Ashford town centre and close to Barrow Hill Vets at around 1.30pm.
The driver of a green Ford Focus RS involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) attended.
An ambulance spokesman said: "All the occupants emerged safely and were assessed on scene declining any further treatment."
