Ashford: Road partially blocked after ambulance and car collide on A28 Canterbury Road near Boughton Lees

A driver suffered minor injuries after colliding with an ambulance.
The incident occurred shortly after 9am on the A28 Canterbury Road near Boughton Lees, and led to the south-bound route being partially blocked.
The car's driver was treated at the scene.
Though queues formed earlier today, the road has now been cleared and traffic had almost returned to normal by 2pm.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service has been approache for comment.
