A man has been charged after a town centre disturbance forced police to issue a dispersal order.
Darren Teale is set to appear in court after being arrested in Ashford High Street on Tuesday.
Officers were called to the town centre at around 3.40pm to a report a group of people were causing a disturbance.
A 24-hour dispersal order was brought in at 4.02pm.
A further three people - two men, aged 46 and 53, and a 24-year-old woman - were told to leave during Tuesday evening and warned not to return or risk arrest.
Following enquiries into the disturbance, Mr Teale, of Benenden Road, Ashford, was arrested charged with assaulting an emergency worker and being drunk and disorderly.
The 53-year-old has been bailed to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Monday.
