E scooter rider hit by car in Mace Lane, Ashford

An e scooter rider has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
The incident happened yesterday at about 5.30pm in Ashford.
Ambulance crews and police attended the incident in Mace Lane and the rider was assessed and treated at the scene.
They were then taken to the William Harvey Hospital.
