A man riding an e-scooter has been injured after colliding with a car.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon in Ashford and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene in Laurens Van Der Post Way on Repton Park at about 3.30pm.
The e-scooter rider was assessed and treated before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be serious.
E-scooters are illegal to ride on any land not privately owned - unless in a town or city covered by a government trial.
The conclusion of Kent’s only pilot scheme, in Canterbury, in November last year signalled the end of any lawful e-scooter use on public land across the county.
